Step 1:

You will need to calculate the wire size needed to properly feed your string of lights that will be used in the system- Feed Wire down the handrail.

(DO NOT DO THIS BEFORE HOLES ARE DRILLED to avoid damaging the wires).

Step 2

Using a Power Drill (with a drill bit that is smaller than final hole needed) to drill holes in marked locations.

Step 3

Using 15.5mm drill, ream out the hole using light oil to ensure no elongation occurs.

Step 4:

You will need to calculate the wire size needed to properly feed your string of lights that will be used in the system- Feed Wire down the handrail.

(DO NOT DO THIS BEFORE HOLES ARE DRILLED to avoid damaging the wires).

Step 5:

Properly connect the handrail lights to the feeder wires using properly sized connectors for your application.

Step 6:

Connect the wire in series where (DC) plus goes in one side (RED WIRE) and (DC) minus comes out the other (Black Wire).

Step 7:

The last fixture in series must return to the power supply to close the electrical loop that has been made.

Step 8:

Ensure to follow local electrical code when wiring these fixtures. Follow proper grounding procedures where needed and do not connect more lights than the listed power supply is rated for.
